Last week I photographed this fun and fabulous family up in Cripple Creek. 2009 has been a huge year for Heather and Leon, with the completion of their dream house in the mountains, and the arrival of gorgeous Eloise. I was happy to be able to help them document such an important year!

Here’s their pug, Rubix, being greeted in that special doggie way by Heather’s mother’s dog, Paris.

Their house (and that view!) are seriously dreamy.

I LOVE this one. I want to eat this photograph.

Eloise is very attached to her grandmother, Julie, and the two of them spend a lot of time rocking together with Paris by their side.

I have officially exploded from the cuteness of all those pictures!

that last photo makes me cry — such love and trust and comfort and sweetness.

That house is fantastic! Baltimore has a serious lack of awesome contemporary houses, especially with views like that. Their bedroom is to die for. (can you tell that I wish you’d done a bunch more house only photos?!?)

Oh my word! I could just eat that baby with a spoon!!! The photos of her with each parent and her grandma are *so* sweet! But that view…wow!

Amazing passion in your photos as always!

Look at that round office! That’s so amazing! If you like architectural photos, i’d ask to go back and photograph the whole house. It’s stunning!

Any idea what kind of dog Paris is? She looks nearly identical to our dog and we have no idea what she is.

Lovely family, excellent aesthetics. Lovely puggy, too!

Round rooms are the best. I managed to begin a conversation with a librarian at one of the archives at which I was researching by saying: “your office is AWESOME!!! Round rooms and curved windows are so COOL!”

And I don’t usually gush, but this was the “woah!” factor for me.

Actually, that house seems inspired by the Denver Art Museum, New Addition — any idea who designed it? Beautiful pics, anyway . . . .
