Gorgeous photos. My favorite is the one where her father walks in and to see the look in his eyes. Priceless. Enjoyed the different shots you took of the dance area. It was beautiful to look down onto the dance floor. So many wonderful expression where captured also. Excellent work on the photography.

Thanks! I shot the ceremony at ISO 4000, and some of the preparations and other moments throughout the day. ISO 4000 is pretty crisp with much lower noise than I would have expected. The photos look fine in color, but for this particular church, I prefer them in b/w.

The photo of the bride's parents crying during the ceremony was ISO 5000. That one is visibly noisy, but I think the noise is worth it for the ability to capture a moment like that. I think I'll be shooting at high ISO frequently!

Really great photos. And the kids... they didn't thought about the photographer at all!
What are the photos at ISO 4000, b&w? How do they look in colour? I'm thinking about 5D Mark II now and it's very interesting for me. My friends don't shoot with this ISO and I don't know why. Will you?

It's true that second shooting is the perfect time to test out a new camera. There is some muscle memory to relearn, as well as technical capabilities to discover, so it's great to experiment when I'm not the head shooter. ;-)

Backup is a constant effort! I have several external hard drives, each paired with a mirror drive. I also back up all my files on DVD, and all my JPEGs online at smugmug.com.

I can't get enough of that flower girl! Too cute.

I've been thinking about digital backup lately, and I was wondering, where/how do you store and back up all your digital photos? Do you have external hard drives everywhere or have a online storage location or something? Just curious!

Love the reception venue - the gallery along the top looks really sweet and I bet made for some good overhead shooting!
