This has been a season of rain here in Colorado! Leslie and Brian had hoped to walk around downtown Denver for their engagement session yesterday, but a heavy rainfall sent us for cover at the Denver performing arts center. It turned out to be a great location for urban-style outdoor portraits, complete with a roof over our heads. Leslie and Brian are getting married next month in Denver, and after yesterday’s fun photo shoot, I know it’s going to be a great wedding.

I am totally loving the pic with the taxi and the balloon. It’s just so chic…it seems so “movie star” to me.

I love the way the squares on her shirt really play into the photographs (I see squares everywhere in there, love that!)

Also, it’s been really rainy in Colorado lately! I don’t ever remember it being so rainy this time of year when we lived there! I wish it’d rain here…

Charlotte,

I know exactly what you mean with the rainy season. It’s been hit or miss these past couple weeks in Denver. Luckily my ‘Save the Date’ session was scheduled for yesterday (GORGEOUS clear sunset after a torrent in the afternoon). But it’s a trade-off. The rain on the streets makes for unbeatable details. Great work!

The bottom of her shoes – too cute! The PAC center looks like the one here in NJ a bit, I love the curves in the ceiling.

Love the shots. I did a search for kissing and taxis in NY as I am traveling to NY City soon to do an engagement shoot. Just doing some research. Nice work.
