Meet our new baby!
She is a friendly and smart Australian shepherd who is about a year old. She is coming home with us tonight! We are naming her Ally. I’ve never had a dog before, and I’m a little nervous. But I love dogs, and I can’t wait to show her our wonderful yard and the mountains all around us. She is going to love it here. And any dog would be lucky to get to live with Mike. He’s brilliant with dogs. Mike and I met her on Saturday at the CO Springs humane society shelter. We took a day to think it over, and today I went to sign the paperwork. After work today, he’ll come with me to pick her up and take her home. Right now she is sitting in that cage, waiting for someone to love her. I only wish all of the other dogs there could be as fortunate as she is today. Our cats are going to hate us.
